The method used is a literature review by searching articles in Scopus, ScienceDirect, CINAHL, Pubmed, Oxford, and SAGE databases. results showed that patient on intravenous therapy helpful patients undergoing therapy. Assessment made during insertion can increase safety administering Nurses' perceptions administration are increasing. Some states does not have standard. appropriate identifying need facilitating intervention. An understanding supports implementation assessment. In conclusion, peripheral vascular access device has clinical value screening phlebitis prevention.
